Glaze body interface is the bonding between glaze and body. If the interface is not proper many defects may manifest in short and long term

Tile dimensional defects

Dimensional defects arise from unequal stresses during forming, firing and annealing stages. Stresses can also arise if glaze and body compositions are not properly matched
